Position Summary:

The person in this position will provide entry level support to the Operations team and Donor Empowerment (AKA Development/Fundraising) as a whole. We are seeking a natural relationship builder who is good with details, both personal and technical. Primary responsibilities will be execution of stewardship activities such as gift acknowledgement letters/postcards, reviewing and editing donor information, and keeping team processes moving smoothly. This person will also provide some general administrative assistance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Stewardship Activities including running acknowledgement letters and postcards weekly, sending out cards for gifts made in honor of someone else, tracking milestone stewardship gifts, etc. (30%)
  • Entering and updating donor information in Salesforce and updating records after processes are changed to help us better understand our constituents (20%)
  • Support Data Project Manager by monitoring DE Processes that touch donor information or that require manual intervention and helping them along as needed. (15%)
  • Participate on DE Operations Team to support activities ranging from strategic initiatives to tactical projects, with special focus on problem solving through increased communications within the department and between DE and other departments across the organization. (15%)
  • Administrative Activities (examples: specialized mailings, booking guest travel) and backup for routine DE Operations processes. (10%)
  • Routine internal DE communications, management of shared resources, and scheduling all team meetings (5%)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for DE (5%)

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant major
