Job Description:

The District Administrative Assistant position is most suited for an individual who can handle multiple tasks and work quickly and efficiently to organize data and meet deadlines. The incumbent must be able to utilize a laptop computer, fax machine, email, and the three computer programs listed below. Complete confidentiality and absolute discretion are mandatory for this position.

Required Qualifications

Effective Communication Skills through Telecommunications, Facsimile, Email, Desktop Fax. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; including knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point.

Type 50 WPM; Organization of Information, Files, Records,Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly, accurately and tactfully, both verbally and written; Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrate strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and complete projects/assignments as required with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

This position requires the applicant to work with multiple managers based on the needs of the business. This applicant must be able to handle multiple tasks.

The primary duty of this position is management and administration of the branch to ensure that budget goals are met and to ensure compliance with all banking laws and regulations. Depending on branch size and staffing, the Branch Manager regularly and customarily directs the work of two or more FTE and regularly and customarily exercises discretion and independent judgment in performing his/her duties. The Branch Manager effectively identifies the financial needs of our customers and fulfills these needs by providing appropriate products and excellent customer service. He/She is the on-site leader for customer service; provides leadership, motivation and direction for the branch staff; expands customer base and branch profitability; integrates products/services with customers' needs and actively participates in the community in order to market and promote U.S. Bank products and services. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Establishes and meets budget goals based on growing the business and on sound cost analysis, takes continuous action to control costs while maintaining high quality performance and increasing bank profitability. * Responsible for development and retention of customer base through effective marketing programs, business development and community involvement. Proactive business development should include regular and frequent outside business development calls and inside telemarketing. Resolves customer issues quickly and effectively. * Depending on branch size and staffing, may manage the branch staff, including supervising employees and making decisions regarding employee compensation, promotion, discipline and termination. Communicates business goals, objectives and company performance results; assigns work goals and performance expectations; provides performance feedback, developmental coaching, and recognition of performance results. * Develops a team to ensure excellent customer service and attainment of branch sales goals including loans, deposits, non-interest income and overall profitability. * Understands, communicates and actively manages the incentive plan processes for all the branch employees. Effectively manages employees to successful results. * Establishes, maintains and manages an effective sales environment through consistent customer profiling, regular coaching and continuous training. * Maintains an in-depth knowledge of US Bank products and services. Proactively introduces customers to alternative methods of product and service delivery to increase usage. * Acts as the branch general sales manager to ensure that sales staffs are generating the desired results from customers and prospects. Promotes and improves the sales effectiveness of the management staff by developing sales management and motivational skills through the use of sales training classes and seminars. * Ensures compliance with all banking laws and regulations and requires the same of all staff through continuous compliance training. Ensures documentation and/or reporting of all applicable transactions is within accepted quality standards of completeness and accuracy. Limits bank losses and overall exposure. * Adheres to bank's lending underwriting standards, loan policy and procedures and lending authority as assigned. * Maintains contact with government, civic, nonprofit or volunteer groups to volunteer time, develop leads and promote U.S. Bank goodwill. * Coordinates maintenance and repair of branch facility. * Performs other duties as assigned or required. * Requires National Mortgage Licensing Service (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z and ongoing compliance with all legal or regulatory registration requirements, including, but not limited to maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record. * Actively ensures compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures. Actively participates in any required corporate and business line training in these areas. Follows account opening procedures and understands and follows internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position. Actively works with customers to understand each customer's normal account activity, as appropriate for this position.
