Responsibilities
You will process initial applications for assigned boards (via paper and online) utilizing applicable criteria, databases, and software.
You will review and evaluate documents and ensure all necessary requirements for licensure are completed.
You will processing continuing education sponsor applications and assist in the preparation and completion of the continuing education audit.
You will serve as the primary phone receptionist for the assigned boards and will respond to customer inquiries received through walk-ins, telephone calls, e-mails, and other methods.
You will perform a variety of other administrative and technical functions such as assisting with distribution lists, data entry, online verifications, preparing correspondence and documents, updating files, and records retention.

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma and three (3) years of administrative experience or experience that is directly related to the area of employment.
Ability to understand and follow routine and complex instructions.
Considerable skill in the use of office equipment, computers, and software.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities and prioritize task completion.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Ability to deal courteously and effectively with the public.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and organizational functions of the Boards.
Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying policies and procedures.
Other Requirements
Position works in an office environment with extended periods of sitting and standing.
May require occasional work outside of normal office hours.
May be required to lift, carry, move and/or position objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Daily filing, data entry, telephone and computer use.
