Responsibilities
You will process initial, endorsement, renewal, and/or reinstatement applications for the Residential Builders Commission, utilizing applicable databases and software.
You will process and verify credit reports, verify work experience, search for disqualifying information, input bond information, and distribute Cease and Desist letters, as appropriate.
You will respond to customer inquiries received through walk-ins, telephone calls, e-mails, and other methods providing timely and accurate responses to questions related to the application or bonding process.
You will perform a variety of other administrative and technical functions such as scanning documents, preparing correspondence and reports, issuing certificates and licenses, and preparing and mailing out examination information.

Knowledge of principles and practices of office management and general administrative functions.
Ability to understand and follow routine and complex instructions.
Considerable skill in the use of office equipment, computers, and software.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying policies and procedures.
Ability to effectively plan and organize work schedules and prioritize task completion according to schedules and goals.
Other Requirements
Position works in an office environment with extended periods of sitting and standing.
May require occasional work outside of normal office hours.
May be required to lift, carry, move and/or position objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Daily filing, data entry, telephone and computer use.
