General Job Description
Under occasional supervision, performs a variety of complex administrative, secretarial and clerical duties in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations.
Duties for this Position
Provides assistance to department management, co-workers and the general public as required.
Reports to immediate supervisor.
Receives, reviews, prepares and/or submits a variety of documents such as department records, logs, inventory lists, routine reports, official documents, schedules, civil papers, etc.
Performs general office duties, answering phones, taking messages, distributing mail, etc.
Daily administrative support to command staff and office manager.
Submit work orders to maintenance.
Order Office Supplies.
Coordinate Service Work Orders and order supplies from Ricoh.
Be trained in the MUNIS software.
Requisitions/Purchase Orders/Check Requests
Prepare letters of correspondence
Position Minimum Requirements
Associate degree in Secretarial Science, or equivalent preferred and one year of general office/clerical experience or high school diploma and three years of clerical/general office experience, or any equivalent combination of training, experience, knowledge and abilities. Must have experience with computer and office software packages.
Must be able to pass the required pre-employment physical, polygraph exam, and background check.
