Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Reports To: Chief Compliance Officer

FLSA Status: Non Exempt


  • The Compliance Assistant performs diversified administrative functions in support of compliance management staff.

  • Reviews, updates, revises, and archives existing paperwork under the direction and supervision of the Chief Compliance Officer or other compliance staff.

  • Logs all expired medications as sent in from all offices to compliance into website, creates proper packaging and weighted shipping containers, and sends all expired medications to Pharmalink for destruction as per policy.

  • Prints out documents and manuals as needed for the compliance office.

  • Keeps accurate records for compliance investigations, home site surveys, OIG Sanction Reports, and monthly audit time logs.

  • Acts as co-editor/writer for company newsletter.

  • Assists with annual employee banquet (ACES).

  • Updates the companys SharePoint site (Access Connect) for forms and HIPAA TIPAAs as needed.

  • Assists in the development, maintenance, implementation, and revision of policies and procedures and other documents for the operation of all the organizations compliance program and manuals.

  • May act as backup timekeeper for the department for all non-exempt employees.

  • Assists the Chief Compliance Officer with myriad special projects as assigned.

Some college preferred. Administrative assistant or business office management experience 2 years or

more preferred.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or

diagram form. Ability to deal with problems. Must have above average organization skills and attention

to detail.

Computer Skills:Must know Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook (webmail), and internet skills
