This person will answers calls that come in, ordering work, scheduling our techs to do the work, and does the notifications of local governments to obtain permits to close roads in various cities. The ideal candidate would be someone who is a go getter, self-starter, and willing to learn.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Answer incoming phone calls.
Write up work tickets and data entry of daily sales tickets into the companys software.
Responsible for updating A/R collection spreadsheet on public drive and customer cards within the companys software regarding weekly collection calls.
Receive, review and process receiving tickets for Accounts Payable.
Order signs for the sign shop and other supplies with vendors.
Provide data entry into accounting system from daily unloading slips.
Prints and files related reports.
Process purchase order requests.
Account Payable and Receivable support for the office
Notifications to local county and city officials about road closures
Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
High School Diploma or GED is required. Associates degree is preferred
Must have 3-5 years of experience as an office administrative assistant, construction industry is a plus
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Ability to work is a fast-paced construction office environment
Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and Word as well as skilled use of office equipment
