Provides administrative support to an OSF Vice President, Director and/or Department Manager. Manages the leader(s) calendar, schedules appointments, resolves scheduling conflicts and makes travel arrangements.
Provides general clerical support such record keeping, answering/routing calls, writing documents and creating presentations. Manages projects as assigned. Prioritizes work with minimal supervision. Demonstrates a high level of competence and professionalism including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High School diploma or equivalent
2 or more years of administrative assistant or department secretary experience
Intermediate level in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Proficient with email and calendaring systems
Working knowledge of MS Project and OneNote.
Maintains calm demeanor, even in stressful situations
Proven communication and interpersonal skills in previous job or classwork
Demonstrated organizational and prioritizing skills
Completion of college classes in related field
