Position Summary:

Under direct supervision provides clerical and administrative support to field offices. Processes data, generates routine reports and provides direct support to claim representatives. Maintains office records, appointment calendars and travel itineraries.Other duties include but are not limited to, answering telephones, filing, mail processing, document scanning, letter and other document preparation.

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • At least one year office work experience.

  • Working knowledge of current business software such as Word and Excel.

Work Traits:

  • Above average verbal and written communication skills, as well as, demonstrated competence in reading and basic mathematics.

  • Able to maintain strict confidence regarding information contained in assigned work.

  • Ability to professionally interact with all levels of branch personnel, as well as, clients, vendors and all other office visitors.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

Description: This position is required to provide administrative support for development, planning, evaluation and monitoring of the WIC Policy Development component; and ensure compliance with all Federal and State program requirements. This position is critical to fulfill the policy development activities mandated by USDA. Position requires job related travel. Ability is required to maintain effective working relationships with others; to handle confidential work; to interpret and handle routine matters in accordance with agency policy; and to follow oral and written instructions. Education and Work Experience: Requirements consist of five years of technical clerical office work or an equivalent combination of education and experience Title 74, 840-5.5.
