Job Description

Local Oil and Gas Company looking to hire Administrative Assistant. This positionhas the potential to be part or full time. Thisposition will be beneficial in building professional experience in organization, time management, data entry, accounting and overall knowledge of the oil and gas industry.

Position Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide professional administrative support to superiors
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing
  • Perform data entry and scan documents
  • Create and modify documents in Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to multi task, while maintaining accuracy
  • Preform all other related duties, as assigned.

As an Administrative Assistant you will be providing support to the VP of Annuity Business Systems Support. This Admin Assistant will be supporting the ABSS groups in two locations. Your contribution at AIG As a contributor at AIG you are the one the clients turn to in times of need. You act with speed, composure, compassion and knowledge to solve problems and the work you do every day is the heart of AIG's business. * Maintain office supplies and equipment for the various departments. * Run department errands gathering various items used within the area. Will require some lifting up to 30 lbs. * Prepare and distribute critical reports for executive management and audit. * Research information used in special reports and projects unique to the department. * Work with budget reports and determine variances that support expenditures. * Coordinate temporary personnel and tracking of organizational staff. * Coordinate team activities, facilities upkeep and phone log reporting and daily correspondence. * Responsible for confidentiality in working with executive level information. * Coordinate with other Administrative assistants to schedule meetings and conference rooms, procure equipment for out of town management. * Update and maintain seating and organizational charts. * Create and distribute internal department communications as needed. * Perform department desk audits. * Coordinate travel arrangements and expense filing. What we are looking for * Must be proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Basics, Outlook and Visio. Proficient using WNL and VALIC operating/imaging systems preferred. * Excellent communication skills both written and oral. * Professional and maintain confidentiality. * Heavy phone use. * Must be able to run errands and pick up supplies as needed. * Responsible for cash collection/deposits for various fund raising activities. * Overtime may be required including some Saturday work. * Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
