Assisting with and helping organize department events.
Aiding with social media initiatives.
Working with Academic Affairs, the division faculty, and coaches to reserve classroom spaces in Hawkins, Powell, and the fieldhouse.
Assisting with classroom equipment setup and tear down.
Regular phone, e-mails, mail, work orders, scheduling potential recruit meetings, ordering and maintaining office supplies.
Proctoring make-up exams for the faculty.
Handling MASM admission process paperwork and emails.
Handling Workday tasks, English
The Division of Human Performance is hiring for an administrative assistant to the faculty. This position would be full-time and begin August 1st, 2024. The responsibilities for this position would include daily mail, e-mails, paperwork, phone calls, and various social media initiatives. Other sporadic duties throughout the year that include scheduling appointments, organizing events, and proctoring exams.
Provides broad support the functions of the department/unit.
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communication
Organize and schedule appointments, maintain department/unit/personnel calendars
Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Develop and maintain a filing system
Update and maintain office policies and procedures
Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
Maintain contact lists
Provide general support to students, employees, and visitors
Act as the point of contact for internal and external inquiries
Coordinate requests and queries from senior managers

Skills/Qualifications:
Good communication skills
Experience with social media and promotion of events
Ability to use common software applications, office and filing skills
Basic knowledge of the academic environment
High school diploma or equivalent required- Bachelors preferred
