Job Description

We are seeking an Energetic Administrative Assistant, who needs microsoft excel & QuickBooks experience to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success! Hours are Monday through Friday part time.



Responsibilities:

  • Enter data into Quickbooks and Excel on a daily basis.
  • Draft correspondences and other formal documents
  • Answer and direct all incoming telephone calls
  • Perform other clerical duties & data entry as needed
  • Part time

Qualifications:

  • Quickbooks Experience REQUIRED
  • Excel Experience REQUIRED
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Dependable, Reliable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills

JOB SUMMARY: The Compliance Administrative Assistant provides support to the Compliance HIPAA Privacy and Security Supervisor. This position is responsible for tracking, monitoring, and responding to Privacy-related functions and other general duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS – Required * Education – High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education a plus. * Experience – 1-3+ years administrative or health care experience * Skills – Must possess the ability to exercise discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information. Must maintain attention to detail, prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner with little supervision. Ability to work independently or as a team. Possess effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe. Be able to interact well with people of varying levels of authority. Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations. * Environment – Business Office environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Certification – RHIT Credential a plus * Experience – Prefer experience in the health care industry JOB FUNCTIONS * Tracks and coordinates correction of scanning and referring physician errors within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system while maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of data. Logs all impermissible disclosures as needed. * Sets up shred bin installation for new and acquired clinics. Works with shredding company to resolve company issues and concerns. * Follows up on low-risk incident reports by contacting involved parties; document steps taken to resolve issue. Collaborate with Supervisor to compile monthly report. * Arranges placement of non-clinical extern students in the Business Office and surrounding clinics.
