The Office of the Diaconate is seeking an experienced secretary/administrative assistant to handle day-to-day office responsibilities. This part-time position reports to the Vicar for Deacons.
Prepare correspondence for the Vicar and Associate Directors.
Maintain records and filing systems.
Update office data base using Access and Excel
Secretarial duties such as answering phones, dealing with the public, creating mailing labels
Prepare letters and packets as part of mass mailings sent by the office.
Prior office or secretarial employment.
Experience utilizing computers and management of records and filing systems.
Must have Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, and the ability to learn Excel and Access
Need to possess an understanding of Catholic Church, faith and ministry.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
