The Administrative Assistant is based in Washington, D.C. and reports to the Vice President of Global Government Affairs, who is also based in Washington, D.C. This position serves as a key resource for the Government Affairs Team and Corporate Compliance Investigations team.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Provide reception and related operational support for the Washington, D.C. offices.
Provide support to internal and external visitors, including assistance with all meeting/event logistics and related needs.
Provide administrative support including assistance with travel, expenses, scheduling, meeting planning and logistics, invoices and other budget-related activities, compliance with lobbying and ethics laws, and operational management of the Washington, D.C. offices.
Support administration of Zimmer Biomet Political Action Committee (Z-PAC).
Support Federal filing requirements for the U.S. Government Affairs Team, including lobbying reporting.
Help manage the Government Affairs internal website
Preparing correspondence and presentation materials.
Organizing and coordinating in-house and off-site meetings, teleconferences and videoconferences.
Prioritizing and handling of all incoming email, mail, faxes and telephone calls, scheduling of appointments and maintaining Outlook calendar.

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 5 years of administrative or project coordinator experience required.
Experience supporting public policy, legislative affairs, lobbying or applicable area functions preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office Applications
