Information Technology Division (ITD) is a customer-oriented division which supports in evaluating and recommending new software; designing, developing and supporting agency applications and web sites; and managing information technology projects. The division also provides a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week operation to monitor mission-critical programs and computer customer support. The Administrative Assistant 4 is the principle assistant providing administrative support to the District/Division Commander and the management team. The position is responsible for the oversight of administrative operations within the Division and ensures consistency with agency policy, procedure and local standard operating procedures.
Our new teammate will be able to:
Facilitates work on behalf of the Division Commander.
Signature authority in absence of Division Commander.
Prepares briefing materials, reports, and other supporting materials to be used by the Division Commander.
Develop and maintain the Division Commander's confidential administrative files.
Develops budget estimates, monitors, and controls budgets from a variety of sources.
Coordinate and assist with position advertisements including completion of position action requests, employee action requests, and completion of necessary documents associated with new positions, change of specialty pay and clothing allowances.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in office/clerical, secretarial, or general administrative work.
