This position is 30 hours per week.
Performs diverse administrative responsibilities for a department or manager.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
This position is subject to Wage Determination as outlined in the McNamara O'Hara Service Contract Act.
This position uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence.
Other duties include assisting in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records (stored both manually and electronically; verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness; compiling information; and handling and adjusting complaints.
Gathers data and prepares designated reports for department.
This position may require purchasing materials, supplies, or services for the Government customer and entering purchase requisitions.
May coordinate with other departments to resolve purchasing issues.
May coordinate meetings and special activities
May perform data entry and maintain specific database programs
May involve exposure to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment
Will perform data entry in budget control spreadsheets, project labor category database, proposal documents, and personnel coverage spreadsheets.
Will enter employee activity reports into a monthly form for government customer.
Will create internal work authorizations for employees.
May assist with purchasing duties.
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of five years related experience
Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications
US Citizenship required
Experience with DELTEK COSTPOINT or similar databases.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
