Job Summary: The Cardiovascular Administrator is responsible and accountable for operational oversight (clinical and business) of assigned areas for effective and efficient outcomes across the Network.

Reports to the LVHN Heart Institute#s Vice President and works in close collaboration with Physician-in-Chief, Medical Directors, Chiefs of Divisions, Nursing and support departments in meeting mutually established goals and objectives for the Heart Institute.

This position requires the individual to take extreme ownership of operations, lean initiatives, developing and implementing new programs/services consistent with the Institute#s quality and business growth objectives. Supports relevant committees and Heart Institute#s Leadership Council.

Represents the Heart Institute in community, civic and professional activities.

Assures compliance with standards and regulations of local, state and national regulatory and accrediting agencies. Administrative oversight of LVHN#s Invasive and Non-invasive cardiac services.

Minimum Requirements: BSN or BS degree in relevant health care related area. MBA, MHA or equivalent completed or in progress.

Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive management experience and responsibility for cardiovascular service line clinical operations in a hospital or health care system offering advanced cardiovascular services (Cath, EP, open heart surgery). Extensive knowledge of daily procedures and operations of cardiovascular departments including work experience with invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular departments and nursing services. Demonstrated effectiveness in managing and directing departmental operations, personnel management, able to motivate others to accomplish desired results. Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively and to establish clear guidelines for accountability.

Ability to build consensus and provide strong leadership in a team environment, with professional and personal integrity. Proficient customer service skills necessary. strong program development skills, budgeting, verbal and written communication skills required. Active membership in a professional organization is required.

Preferred Qualifications: BSN, MSN and advanced business degree. Experience and mangement of invasive and non-invasive cardiac services.

Knowledge of financial and statistical modeling that can be applied to operational assessments. Licensure and Certifications: Master#s degree in relevant field required;BSN or Bachelor#s in health care related field. BSN;Master#s degree in relevant field required
