SUMMARY
The Contract Risk Admin will be responsible for various aspects of risks exposure for the company. To review, investigate, and make efforts to mitigate risks on jobs. Assist in initiating claims against outside parties (private citizen, insurance agencies, companies, etc.),
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receives notices of incidents that are likely to have an insurance or loss impact. Claims against our company requiring documentation will be provided as well as Claims against a 3rd party.
Contacts Safety and Fleet Manager to arrange for building and property repairs.
Contacts the company's Insurance Claims Adjuster to alert them of claim if it is likely to go to litigation.
Advises supervisor of progress toward claim settlements using Excel to track progress and report out.
Review, track and communicate subcontractor compliance to all relevant internal parties. Clear and Concise Communication will be via email and phone.
Run various reports, verify documentation, track and log findings.
Process, based on State criteria, preliminary lien notices per company risk appetite
Track and report out on all preliminary lien notices processed. Working with Collection Specialist and Contracts Manager for best outcome
Required Experience
Strong organizational experience. Skills needed will vary based on platforms used.
Excellent communication skills with management, employees, and outsiders (internal and external customers).
Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with an emphasis on Excel.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Experience in examining and concluding multi-line insurance claims.
Background in managing multiline insurance desired.
