Job Purpose: This position is responsible for assisting a manager providing administrative support on a daily basis.
Scope: Works under supervision following established routines and standing instructions, applies basic skills and knowledge of clearly defined precedents and procedures to complete tasks, administrative workers, contribute with assistance of more senior positions, work is primarily limited to own department. Utilizes a thorough knowledge of the business and/or organization, provides administrative processes and projects in support.
Reporting Relationship: Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Special Physical Requirements:

Responds to routine correspondence, producing letters, memos and other correspondence.
Receives telephone calls and conveys messages.
Makes travel arrangements as needed.
Assists in scheduling meetings, coordinating agendas, room preparation, and ensuring necessary materials are available.
Receives, sorts and distributes department mail.
Assists with special projects when needed.
Provides accurate record and file maintenance.
Orders department office supplies and equipment.
