Key Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Delivering the highest levels of event attendee care while consistently demonstrating a friendly and engaging attitude

  • Effectively addressing and resolving internal and external attendee questions or concerns

  • Demonstrating flexibility in satisfying attendee needs in a high volume, ever advancing environment

  • Consistently adhering to business practice guidelines and policies

  • Attention to detail and strong time management skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate in front of large audiences and with various staff levels

  • Proficient computer skills

  • High quality customer service mindset

  • Great problem solving skills (technology)

  • Strong organizational skills

Event Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Reserve/confirm meeting space, set-up training rooms to specs and sweep room upon completion of event.

  • Serve as point of contact for attendees during meetings either on site or off site

  • Manage ordering and set-up of food and beverage (catering)

  • Order training materials and place in classroom per specs.

  • Check AV equipment is functioning; assist instructors in connecting computer to AV

  • Troubleshoot errors and issues.

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year concierge, hospitality or event management experience preferred

  • Minimum 1 year office/clerical experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Possess strong oral, written and listening skills with fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus

  • Excellent attendance and timeliness record and ability to conform to Novitex's company standards

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Docs. Proficiency with Event bases software is a plus (Advantage)

  • Physical requirements (with or without accommodations) include: ability to stand for 4-6 hours per day, move from various floors, occasionally lift 30 pounds; bend, reach, squat, and perform the necessary job functions; access to personal transportation to reach work site if needed.
