Saint Josephs University's Department of Teacher Education has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester, especially on campus.

Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an "as needed" basis. Courses available for adjunct staffing are offered during the day and also in the evening. Classes are taught in several formats such as face-to-face, online, and hyflex.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching of a specified course

Preparation of materials

Providing support and guidance to students

Secondary Responsibilities: Minimum Requirements:

Master's Degree in Education or closely related field and initial teacher certification with three years of full time teaching experience in PK12 schools or at the college level.

Preferred Qualifications:

ABD or PhD in Education or closely related field. Willingness to teach on campus and be flexible in class scheduling.

Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:

May require standing for long periods of time, talking for long periods of time and carrying course materials.
