Adjunct Professor - Intro Nursing Skills

Stephens College invites applications for part-time (adjunct) instructors for Summer 2024 for the following opportunities:

• Team teaching Introductory Nursing Skills and Health Assessment Course; includes teaching: Theory in the Classroom and Nursing Skills Lab

• Nursing simulation

The successful candidate will:

Team-teach the introductory nursing course that covers foundations and health assessment. Guide students in the acquisition of basic skills and assess student performance. Participate in simulated learning scenarios. Work collaboratively with the teaching team.

Requirements

• Current, active RN license or privilege to practice in Missouri without disciplinary action in the state of Missouri

• MS in Nursing

• Desire to teach nursing

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with the education team

• Represent the values of the program and the college

Highly Desired

• DNP or PhD in Nursing

• Experience teaching at the collegiate or university level
