Teach and assess student learning outcomes in process operations technology and/or industrial electricity courses. This could include courses in introduction to process operations technology (PTEC), PTEC instrumentation, PTEC equipment, quality control, troubleshooting, and internships.
Key Measurable Expectations
Learner-centered Instruction: Teach PTEC courses according to relevant student learning objectives.
Regularly assess student learning to continuously improve instruction. Teach evening and/or off-campus courses, if necessary.
Technology: Integrate instructional technology including technology appropriate to process operations in a variety of industries as appropriate in the discipline of process operations technology, including appropriate use of laboratory equipment. Willingness to teach online courses if appropriate; ability to web-enhance courses in Blackboard.
Minimum Qualifications:
2000 hours of work experience related to process operations technology and/or industrial electricity
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a field related to process operations technology from an accredited college/university.
Teaching experience at the college level in process operations technology.
Two years of work experience in process operations technology.
