To conduct college technology courses in support of the Welding Technology program and other related programs.

Duties

Looking to fill this position immediately!!

1.Weld flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead;

2.Weld 6" pipe in various.

positions using multiple processes;

3.Cutting with a variety of processes including plasma-arc, oxy-fuel, and saws.

4.Preparing plate, structural, and pipe materials for welding;

5.Shop safety;

6.Fabrication.

Minimum Requirements

1.AAS degree in Welding;

2.Two years relevant work experience in Utility, Chemical, Fuel, or Sanitary Pipe Welding;

3.Qualified (or able to qualify) on 6" Carbon Steel Pipe In 6 G position utilizing SMAW process.

4.Qualified (or able to qualify) on 6" Carbon Steel Pipe in 6 G position utilizing GTAW process.

Preferred Qualifications

1.Bachelor's degree;

2.Two years of teaching post-secondary experience;

3.AWS CWI and/or CWE certification.
