Department Summary
The Department of Health Administration & Health Policy in the School of Public Health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth is seeking an Adjunct (Instructor).
Position Overview
The incumbent will teach HMAP 5306 Health Finance I. This course offers an introduction to accounting, financial theory and practice in health care settings. It is designed to familiarize students with important financial concepts and issues confronting managers in the health sector.
Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree in Healthcare Finance, Economics, Management, Strategy, Data Management, Operations.
Previous senior level leadership experience within a healthcare organization.
A strong record of effectively teaching graduate courses in healthcare management or a closely related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Healthcare Finance, accounting, data management and analysis, basic statistical analysis, experience with data visualization software, experience working in a healthcare related environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal degree in a healthcare related field or a graduate degree.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
