About SUNY Syracuse EOC:
SUNY Syracuse Educational Opportunity Center (EOC), established in 1969, is part of the State University of New York and since 1974 has been administered by Morrisville State College. The SUNY Syracuse EOC is one of 10 centers in New York State - each of which is administered by either a SUNY or CUNY college - provides the urban community of Syracuse with innovative academic programs leading to higher education as well as vocational and workforce development training programs leading to gainful employment and economic self-sufficiency. Classes are offered at NO COST to students who meet income eligibility guidelines.
SUNY Syracuse EOC is accepting applications for an adjunct instructor to teach communications, customer service and teambuilding skills to students in our workforce development programs. Candidates must be able to develop and deliver instruction for a wide range of student needs and abilities.
Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Communication or a closely related field; Minimum of two years of experience teaching communications or customer service; Demonstrated computer literacy skills; Teaching experience in adult education is preferred; Ability to establish and maintain effective relationship with SUNY Syracuse EOC personnel and outside agencies; Flexible schedule to include some evening classes; Valid driver's license
