Adjunct Instructor Precision Machining

State Fair Community College is an accessible, learning-centered institution, enriching its students and community by providing skills, knowledge and perspectives essential for a changing world.

• Instruct Precision Machine Tool courses as assigned

• Adjunct assignments may include days, evenings or weekends

• Format for delivery may include lecture or hybrid

Responsibilities will include:

• Course instruction; Courses included but not limited to are: Introduction to Machining, Metrology, CNC Machining, Lathe and Milling Machine operation, Introduction to CNC Programming, Computer Aided Manufacturing, Intermediate CNC Machining, Advanced Computer Aided Manufacturing.

• Utilize technology (including Canvas)

• Gradebook/feedback up-to-date within 1 week

• Timely response to student emails within 24 hours

• Meet attendance and final grade entry deadlines

• ILO/data reporting to Lead Instructor/Division as requested

• Maintain communication with Lead Instructor and Director

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in related technical field and at least 3 years pertinent work experience OR

• Five years pertinent work experience OR

• Completed one level higher MINS and an Associate's Degree in a technical related field.

• Completed applications will include SFCC application, cover letter, resume and if applicable transcripts. Employment will require a criminal background check at College Expense. Preference is given to Missouri residents.

Pay Grade: $625.00 per credit hour
