Adjunct Instructor, Pharmacy Technician Program

The primary duties of this position are classroom instruction, lab instruction, and clinical supervision when the need arises. Duties and responsibilities shall include providing instruction for traditional and dual enrolled students.

Instruction may occur in the classroom, lab and clinical setting. Teaching assignment may include day and evening classes. Perform other related duties as required.

The Adjunct Instructor for the Pharmacy Technician program reports to the Pharmacy Technician Program Coordinator and the Chair of Allied Health Department.

Minimum Qualifications

1.Possess a certification in the field of pharmacy technician that is accredited by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)

2.Minimum of 3 years' experience in pharmacy practice within the past five (5) years.

Preferred Qualifications

1.CPhT-Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician is preferred.

2.Minimum of 5 years' experience in pharmacy practice within the past eight (8) years.

3.Possess proficiency in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning.
