Ohio University's Regional Campuses are located in the following cities in the State of Ohio: Chillicothe; Eastern (St. Clairsville, OH); Lancaster; Southern (Ironton, OH); and Zanesville.
This is a POOL posting accepting applications on a rolling basis for adjunct positions that become available beginning the 2024-2025 academic year.

Provide a syllabus for the course(s) the applicant wishes to be considered for teaching approval and upload recent course evaluations (quantitative and qualitative) under the document titled, "other."

Ohio University Regional Campuses are seeking part-time instructors to teach in-person courses at the undergraduate level in physics and physical science. The exact number of Instructors needed is undetermined at this time as it is primarily dependent upon enrollments and changing programmatic needs.
When a need arises, the department will select qualified candidates from this pool. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach in the following areas: intro to physics (PHYS 2001 and PHYS 2002), general physics (PHYS 2051 and PHYS 2052), the physical world (PSC 1010).
Positions will include teaching from 3 credit hours to up to 11 credit hours per term.
This is a part-time position eligible for sick leave and retirement benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Physics or closely related content area.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching undergraduate courses preferred.
Department ZNSVL Arts and Sciences Pay Rate
Standard rates for per credit compensation.
