Job Title: Adjunct Instructor for Health Administration

Department: School of Business and Technology

Reports To: MHA Program Manager

Job Type: This is a part time, exempt position.

General Description:

William Woods University is now accepting applications for part-time, online adjunct teaching positions in our Master of Health Administration (MHA) program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach in the Master of Health Administration (MHA) program.

Position Requirements:

  • A doctorate in health administration or a related field is preferred.

  • Applicants with a master of health administration (MHA) degree or master's degree in a discipline directly related to the courses to be taught may be considered.

  • Master's degree holders must have five or more years of professional work experience and hold a supervisory/managerial position in a healthcare position that is directly related to the courses to be taught.

  • Experience teaching courses is required.

  • Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to build successful relationships with student populations.

  • Demonstrated time management and detail-oriented skills.

  • Excellent computer skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet frequently occurring deadlines.

  • Ability to develop a professional rapport with diverse school/campus constituents.

  • Ability to develop and complete projects without continued direct supervision.

  • Excellent written communication skills including the ability to build successful relationships with student populations.

  • Outstanding conflict resolution skills.

  • Demonstrated time management and detail-oriented skills.

  • Excellent computer based skills.
