ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES:
Adjunct faculty are part-time faculty hired to teach a specified course/s on a semester basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepares lesson plans and instructs students in a classroom and/or laboratory setting.
Thoroughly prepares and teaches all course materials.
Provides support and guidance to students to optimize learning outcomes.
Completes and maintains all required documentation and records, including, but not limited to, grades, requisitions, rosters.
Completes, reports and maintains grades in a timely manner.
Fosters a professional classroom environment conducive to learning.
All other duties as required by the Dean.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree, including a minimum of 18 credits in Mathematics
Master's degree preferred.
