Department Summary

The Department of Health Administration & Health Policy in the School of Public Health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach on campus.

Position Overview

The incumbent will teach HMAP 5322 Population Health Analytics. This course enables students to use healthcare organizations and other sources of data to make decisions that will improve the health of patients and populations.

Students gain hands-on experience assimilating multiple data sources to better understand these patients and populations. Analytic thinking and communication skills are developed as students use information technology tools to interpret and create data dashboards and data visualizations.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters or Doctoral degree in public health, health administration, or related human services field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Healthcare data management and analysis, basic statistical analysis, experience with data visualization software, experience working in a healthcare related environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree or Terminal academic degree (PhD, EdD or equivalent) is preferred.
