Position Overview

The Department of Biological Sciences at Frisco Inspire Park and Frisco Landing campuses seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Assistant pools and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 terms. The specific lecture and laboratory courses may vary from semester to semester, and openings to teach/lead these sections develop on a periodic basis, depending upon departmental need.

Lecture/laboratory course sections with anticipated need may include, but are not limited to:

Environmental Science lecture and lab, Biology for Science Majors Lab, Human A&P I and II Lab, Genetics Lab, Cell Biology Lab, Parasitology Lab, Immunology Lab, Animal Physiology Lab, Principles of Biochemistry Lab.

Minimum Qualifications

Adjunct Instructor Assistants in Biology (Frisco)

Bachelor's degree with 18 hours of advanced coursework in Biological Sciences (or related area specific to the laboratory course). College-level laboratory instruction experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Adjunct Instructor Assistants in Biology (Frisco)

Bachelor's degree in biology, Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, or related area specific to the laboratory course assignment(s). One year of demonstrated laboratory instruction experience.
