Job Function: EDPD seeks adjuncts who are interested in teaching courses that allow educators to earn their required graduate credit hours for re-certification, assist teachers in gaining new and vital, updated knowledge in their compliance West Virginia state law.

The Division of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education seeks qualified adjuncts to teach courses in a number of select disciplines within its degree and certificate programs. Graduate studies at Shepherd University provides quality content with a strong emphasis on career preparation.

Graduate programs offered respond to the career goals of its students, the needs of local and regional employers for highly qualified professionals, and the ability of the university to provide quality graduate education. Members of the graduate faculty must be qualified in their subject matter (normally with a terminal degree in their field) and must demonstrate a pattern of sustained professional activity.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in the field of expertise.
