The Department of Education at Elizabethtown College is seeking several part-time Adjunct Field Placement Supervisors of Education for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Supervisors regularly observe teacher candidates in methods and student teaching placements (junior and senior level field experiences).

Job Duties

Field supervisors constructively assess teacher candidates in assigned placements, provide leadership in establishing and maintaining high quality mentoring and supervisory best practices, act as liaison between the teacher candidates, mentor teachers and the department, and participate in placement orientations.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in education or a related field; at least five years' experience in PK-12 schools; proficiency in using technology and shared content management systems, knowledge of Danielson's Domains and a commitment to inclusion, diversity, and social justice in education.

Possess current ACT153 clearances (consisting of PA Child Abuse, PA State Police and FBI)
