Job Knowledge/Systems:

  • Provide instruction for the assigned contact hours per week.

  • Participate in campus wide initiatives in support of recruitment, retention, and graduation goals.

  • Maintain one Skills Assistance contact hour per week for every five instructional hours assigned.

  • Maintain one-half Administrative contact hour per week for each course assigned.

  • Maintain a current knowledge of teaching discipline.

  • Attend required staff meetings and in-service training.

  • Utilize active learning (facilitation), authentic assessment, and portfolio assignments to support the teaching and learning outcomes of the College.

  • Adhere to and uphold all established operational policies and procedures as described in operating documentation (Official Catalog, Faculty Guide, Associate Guide).

All instructors will possess and exhibit qualities of professionalism, integrity, self-esteem, self-motivation, and a strong desire to guide students to improve their career prospects.

All instructors are expected to possess the credential and experiential requirements as described in Bryant & Stratton College Policy No. 035: Master's degree in Accounting, or an MBA with an Accounting Concentration

All instructors are expected to maintain a contemporary skill set in support of active learning and authentic assessment evaluation methodology.

All instructors are responsible for establishing and maintaining a classroom climate consistent with the College values

VIEW JOBS 12/6/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-06T00:00 Job Description Arcadis is hiring an Invoice Specialist. The main responsibility of an Invoice Specialist is to accurately prepare and submit client invoices in accordance with contract terms and to meet corporate mailing deadlines. Additionally, the Invoice Specialist is responsible for reviewing project setups in the accounting systems (Vision and PM Applications) and verify the data is in compliance with the contract terms. Invoice Specialists are the first line of communication with Project Managers and other members of Operations. Additional duties/requirements include: * Ensure that all invoices are processed and mailed accurately and in accordance with the contract terms and deadlines set forth by management. * Work closely with Operations to prepare and send client invoices. This includes any special invoice documentation or backup as required within the contract. * Assist PMs with the Electronic Invoicing System. * Deliver courteous, prompt, respectful and value-added customer service to internal and external clients. * Monitor and manage invoices on the billing grid. * Upload invoices and documents to Paperless Document Retention system. * Verify receipt of contracts in Contacts Storage System (CLS) and record if the status should be classified as interim or final. * Interface with Cash Receipts and Accounts Payable departments. * Monitor validation reports for project set up issues and make necessary adjustments weekly. * Revenue recognition comprehension and adjustments. * Seek creative ways to assist Operations that are not meeting mailing deadlines. * Complete monthly task checklist. * Work in Adobe PDF to organize and tie out backup. * Work well under pressure, must be able to adhere to strict Finance/Client deadlines. * Work with Operations to meet ABC internal project audit requirements. * Upload invoices into client electronic invoicing systems when required. Required Qualifications * Associates Degree in business discipline desired (Finance, Accounting or Business Administration) * Minimum of 1 year of business experience in Finance with a focus in billing preferred. * Strong organizational, written and verbal communication, Excel and Word skills. * Able to work independently, as well as in a team setting. * Should have a high level of energy and a can do attitude. * Self-motivated. * High sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines. * Excellent accuracy and attention to detail are critical skills. * Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, flexible, and ability to prioritize.
