POSITION: Adjunct Faculty

  • Undergraduate Nursing

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Virginia; MS in Nursing preferred, or BSN with MS in progress.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in acute care nursing for the Adult Health Practicum or 2 years' experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing. Work experience in related professional field (if applicable).

RESPONSIBILITIES: To serve as an adjunct faculty member for the undergraduate nursing program, teaching up to 9 credit hours per semester. Including some or all of the following:

  • In-person teaching/clinical setting

  • Undergraduate

  • NURS 304 A - Fundamentals Practicum; NURS 320/420 A - Adult Health Practicum I/II; NURS 323 A - Psychosocial Nursing

POSITION DETAILS: Faculty are contracted per course. Salary determined by education.

APPOINTMENT DATE: Fall 2024 term, August
