Concordia University seeks applicants who are certified, effective Secondary Content Area Experts (currently teaching grades 6-12) who will mentor, instruct and coach Concordia Secondary Methods Students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teacher education and will have strong mentoring skills. Content Area Experts will meet with Secondary Methods students at the Ann Arbor campus Monday evening from 7-9pm , every other week for 14 weeks, starting September 9, 2019.

Mentor, instruct and coach Concordia Secondary Methods students
Familiar with High leverage Teaching Practices (HLTP)
Demonstrate how teacher preparation students can manifest practices within a content area
Coach students in how to demonstrate this secondary methods course content in a portfolio
Contextualize a specific HLTP focus to instruct and assess students
