The School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) is seeking dynamic, learner-focused educators with experience as active practitioners and researchers.
Adjunct Instructors will work with students at Elizabethtown College to provide them with the knowledge, concepts, and skills to be successful in their chosen field in the following accelerated online degree program(s):

Job Duties
Adjunct faculty will have the following job responsibilities:
Teach courses using online, blended and/or and hybrid pedagogy through the Canvas LMS;
Review textbooks and other courseware changes;
Review and improve syllabi;
Create an eLearning environment that fosters a sense of belonging, dignity and, respect;
Use instructional methods that support syllabi expectations; complete beginning-of-term preparation and communication;
Facilitate class instruction in accordance with course, program, and student learning objectives;
Apply adult learner theory to support students' needs; administer evaluations of student performance based on course assessments;
Provide both instructive and supportive feedback;
Adhere to protocol guidelines; submit grades for course completion;
Complete end-of-term preparation, communication, and course evaluation(s); model professionalism and appropriate academic conduct.

Required Qualifications
The qualified candidate must hold a graduate degree in one of the appropriate fields listed above or equivalent.
Relevant professional experience is required. Successful candidates will demonstrate teaching excellence, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to collaborative processes. They will have a demonstrated commitment to teaching adult learners and proficiency in teaching online with high-impact strategies.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to interact with others while maintaining a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion.
