Concordia University invites applicants for the part-time Adjunct Faculty positions of Mathematics Instructor located on the Mequon Campus. The Department of Mathematics has part-time instructor positions available to teach one or more daytime sections of college algebra and/or statistics at the freshman/sophomore level for the Fall Semester.
Courses available include:
College Algebra: 11:35 12:50 T/Th
College Algebra: 11:05 11:55 M/W/F
Statistics I: 10:05 11:25 T/Th
Prepare syllabus and teaching plan
Conduct class sessions
Prepare and administer quizzes and exams
Grade students' work, and record midterm and final course grades
Must maintain a minimum of three office hours per week
Master's degree in a related field is required
Must possess effective interpersonal skills - able to work with diverse, student populations in close, academic, and professional working relationships
Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, change-oriented, and collaborative environment
Evidence of teaching college level courses preferred
