Job Title: HLTH 460 - Substance Use and Disorders

Required Degree: Masters degree. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience: Have experience teaching college level courses as well as knowledge of substance use disorders and how they impact individuals, family, and community

Must reside in the State of Utah to be eligible for employment consideration. Must be willing to teach the course(s) in person, on campus.

Duties/Expectations: Come prepared to teach substance use disorders and the individual, family, and community.

Being able to emphasize prevention science in addressing social determinants, risk and protective factors, bio-psycho-social effects, treatment and the legal implications of drug use on the individual, family, and community. Students will learn new skills to assist them with future parenting and community involvement, and in preparation for public health career opportunities in the field of substance use and disorder prevention and treatment.
