Adjunct Faculty-English (Teaching At Partner Sites) - Bunker Hill Community College

Job Description:

• Teach English courses in the English department under the Division of the Humanities and Learning Communities.

• Courses are offered at BHCC partner sites, including not are not limited to Madison Park High School, Malden High School, PAO Center, El Centro, Freedom House.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in English or related field.

• Evidence of engagement in culturally responsive pedagogies.

• Experience with high impact teaching and learning practices (examples: undergraduate research, community engagement, critical pedagogies, learning communities).

• Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.

• Community college teaching experience preferred.

Additional Information:

Salary: $1,397 Per Credit Hour

Effective Date: Fall 2024 semester; open until filled
