JOB SUMMARY: The SVSU English Department seeks qualified instructors to teach one or more courses in Fall 2024 and/or Winter 2025.
Possible courses include introductory composition, developmental writing, developmental reading, and General Education courses in writing and in literature. Instructors must be available for in-person, on-campus teaching.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in English (or closely related field).
Experience and ability to positively interact with diverse student populations and groups.
Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Teaching experience in either high school or college English courses strongly preferred.
