The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics (IS/BAN) at Hofstra University invites applications for an adjunct instructor or an assistant professor in the field of business analytics.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Teaching requirements in the department include undergraduate courses and graduate level courses. Areas of interest are of healthcare IT, healthcare analytics, and practicum in healthcare. Teaching load per semester can be one or two courses, depending on the department's needs.

Qualifications

  • A master's degree in IT/IS, or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution

  • Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting equity, diversity and inclusion.

Preferred Quals Summary

  • Expected to work in a culturally diverse community of students and faculty

  • Industry experience or certificates in data analytics fields are priority.

Salary/Salary Range $1,422-$1,792 per credit

Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education.
