Job Description:

BHCC is seeking dynamic adjunct faculty to teach in the Visual Media Arts Department beginning Fall Semester.

VMA-110 Audio for Media (In-person, Thursdays) 2:30PM-5:15PM

In this introductory lab, students will gain basic knowledge and skills for producing audio for broadcast and visual media. Through hands-on projects, students will learn how to record, edit, and mix sound, using standard audio equipment and digital audio editing software. Topics will include the science of sound, audio for video, audio and the internet, and the technical aesthetic aspects of audio craft.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in related field or substantial relevant experience.

• Commitment to advancing equity and access in the classroom.

• College teaching experience, especially at community college level, preferred.

• Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.

Additional Information:

Salary: $1,397.00 Per credit hour

Effective Date: Fall semester, open until filled
