General Description of Work

Whatcom Community College invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position to teach ACCT 260-Individual Income Tax. It is an introductory accounting course covering individual income tax rules, policies, and theories.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Accounting and/or Business from an accredited institution or a bachelor's degree and professional accounting experience (e.g., a CPA license or Enrolled Agent license).

  • Work experience in Accounting and Taxation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Face-to-face teaching experience at a post-secondary institution.

  • On-line teaching experience, interest, or aptitude.

  • Actively contributes to a work environment that embraces diversity and uses diverse perspectives to enhance the attainment of organizational goals. Treats everyone with respect and dignity, and appreciates the differences in people.
