POSITION DESCRIPTION:

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the College Dean of Enrollment Management, the Counselor for International Students will be responsible for advising international students. Specifically, this position will be responsible for the following duties:

• Assist international students and their sponsors through the completion of all the required steps in the international student application process

• Review applications and all accompanying documents for completeness and qualification for admission

• Coordinate maintenance of records for international students for SEVIS for reporting and compliance

• Collaborate in the collection, and reporting of enrollment management data for the College through the SEVIS system

• Conduct orientations for international students

• Perform other duties as assigned by the College Dean of Enrollment Management or designated supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum qualifications for this position include a master's degree in counseling, student personnel or a related field, experience in enrollment management processes, experience in providing academic and admissions counseling, effective communication skills, and computer literacy. Qualifications, experience working with international students is preferred.

Summer 2024 session 9.0 credit hours.
