Adjunct, Chemistry - Salve Regina University

Job Description:

The chemistry department at Salve Regina University invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions for the Fall 2024 semester. Ideal candidates would be able to teach one or more sections of General Chemistry Lecture (CHM 113, MWF 9am, 10am, and 12pm). Experience teaching at the college level is preferred. There is potential for a renewed appointment in future semesters to teach other courses.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at minimum a master's degree in chemistry or related field from a regionally accredited institution.

• Experience teaching General Chemistry at the college level is preferred.

• An ability to teach classes during the day at the scheduled class times.

• Experience using technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning.

• Experience using a Learning Management System such as Canvas.
