Annual Security Report Notice

Pace University's College of Health Professions is seeking engaging, experienced public and non-profit health sector professionals, researchers and others well versed in their respective fields to teach courses in both our undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Adjunct faculty earn a competitive salary and have access to professional development workshops, computer resource centers, the library and research resources, and much more., as well as in our continuing education and certificate programs.

Most courses are taught in-person on our campus in Pleasantville or New York City, and some taught virtually online. Successful candidates will be consulted on the particular discipline, degree program, course, and (in-person or online) teaching modality before each semester upon appointment.

We are interested in candidates who can teach courses in a health science degree program in areas such as health promotion, disease prevention, global health, epidemiology, healthcare for diverse populations, health policy, health management, and health information technology. All applicants are reviewed, and we are appreciative of your inquiry.

• Courses are assigned to Adjunct Professors on a semester-by-semester basis. Therefore, if hired, there is not a guarantee that you will be assigned a course every semester.

Ideal candidates will hold a Masters degree in Health Science, Public Health or related field, and have a minimum of 5-8 years progressive work experience; a demonstrable record of teaching, academic or classroom experience; and significant industry and professional success, honor and distinction. Professionally qualified candidates without prior teaching experience will be considered.
