The ideal candidate for Adjunct Associate Professor for the Railroad Signal position will have a working knowledge and experience in railroad signal systems, track circuits and systems, traffic control, switch machines locks, interlocking, classifications and crossing gates. Knowledge of safety rules pertaining to signalmen, basic principles of electricity and measurement as well as protective devices. An understanding of signal systems, track circuits, and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) rules are needed.

Required Skills

  • Associates Degree and five years of experience in the railroad industry OR Bachelors Degree with three years of experience in the railroad industry

Required Experience

  • At least three years of experience in the railroad industry in the signal or electronics area
